I love all the imbeciles who keep trying to pretend that what this doofus did was good and noble. Or worse, that he didn’t do anything.
He DID do it. He’s admitted this all along.
His lame defense of “well, I had the numbers was wasn’t REALLY going to do anything with them” is just self-serving ass-coverage. He’s trying to put himself in the best possible light to avoid worse punishment.
The only POV that this guy cares about is his. If you disagree with him, he’ll simply roll over you. If you’re too big or powerful to roll over, he’ll hack his way into your systems to silence you. And then, if he’s caught, he thinks that he should be able to lie, cheat, etc his way out of accepting punishment, because he’s right and everyone else is just too stupid to understand him.
And to all the jackasses who say “Well ProtestWarrior is just a bunch of far-right assholes.”
SO THE FUCK WHAT? That means it’s OKAY to steal from them? Simply because you don’t like them or what they represent? I’m sure, had someone done this to YOU, you’d be screaming bloody murder!
Keep it firmly in mind. Jeremy isn’t some “innocent victim” here. He’s an admitted criminal. And, whether you agree with the law or not, breaking into someone’s system and stealing credit card numbers is STILL A CRIME. Whether he actually used them or not is not the point. Had he actually USED them, he’d have been going away for a LOT longer than a 2×12.
THAT is why Jeremy is going to jail. Not because “The Man” had it in for him. Not because someone was trying to silence him. BECAUSE HE DID WRONG AND HAS TO ACCEPT THE CONSEQUENCES OF HIS ACTIONS.
