Ouch, here’s a zinger: contrary to reports, travel site TripAdvisor apparently did not purchase the Facebook Platform application Where I’ve Been for $3 million. The news was originally reported on Inside Facebook on Thursday night. The company isn’t saying any more, obviously.

Unofficial Wii DVD Playback Now Available, Requires Modded Wii

Looks like DVD playback is finally available for Wii, but it doesn’t come from Nintendo and it will require you to have a modded console. Team Symbiote’s hack looks simple, although it requires you to start up from a CD and then change to the DVD pressing the z button. However, this shows that the Wii console can do it.
