The Progress Of The RadeonHD Driver (AMD’s Official Open-Source Driver)

At the time of writing, in about the past week and a half there has been about 90 commits to the RadeonHD driver, and can largely be attributed to Novell’s involvement with this AMD driver… The Novell developers hope to complete 2D work on the RadeonHD driver by the end of this year.

World of Warcraft 2.2 removes hardware sound engine, Creative Labs upset!

While there are a few little glitches and bugs floating around, it seems there’s a big problem with Creative sound cards (definitely one of the most popular sound card brands out there). And Creative has posted on their message boards that officially, they’re not very happy that Blizzard didn’t consult them when upgrading their sound engine.

The latest episodes of Heroes and Prison Break have been downloaded over a million times already. However, quite a few paranoid downloaders noticed that the .torrent files, apparently released by EZTV, were using the MiiVi.org tracker. A trap perhaps?
