Brits snapped up Apple iPhones
Erskine went on to call the iPhone the fastest-selling device his network has ever seen. He said 2/3 of the iPhone customers were new to O2, which suggests that they were lured away from Vodafone, Orange or T-Mobile.It seems Europeans also love the iPhone !
DivX support coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 support in the works

To mark the fifth anniversary of Xbox Live, Microsoft will be offering Carcassonne (Hexic 2 in Korea) free to all subscribers for 48 hours starting at 12:01 a.m. EST on Nov. 15th. In addition, Microsoft has confirmed that ‘Xbox Originals’ (Halo, Psychonauts, Crimson Skies, Fable, etc) will be made available for download starting Dec. 4th.

Eric Wilkinson, the producer of the independent film “The Man from Earth”, wrote an email to RLSlog in which he thanks them for the free promotion they gave him. “In the future, I will not complain about file sharing” he wrote, “when I make my next picture, I just may upload the movie on the net myself!”

Mac OS beats Windows in Japan: 54 percent of OS share in October
Microsoft’s has taken a bruising in the Japanese marketplace just as Apple’s Mac OS X Leopard was released, according to a new report by the country’s Business Computer News. Sales of Mac OS X soared between September and October, but Windows plummeted to almost a third of its earlier growth — giving Apple 54 percent of all OS sales in Japan.
