It’s like AllofMP3 for movies: hands-on with ZML’s DRM-free flicks

If you’re a fan of AllofMP3 and its many iterations for cheap, questionably-legal, DRM-free music, you’ll also take a liking to its cousin site for movie downloads, ZML. The selection is decent, but the prices can’t be beat. At least until it’s shut down.

When is too many dpi too much?

Most non-gaming mice clock in around the 800 dpi range, while today’s gaming mice peak at a blistering 3200 dpi. Razer’s Lachesis gaming mouse reaches a ridiculous 4000 dpi. Will someone please explain to me why 4000 dpi is necessary?

Fox to allow buyers to make copies of upcoming DVD to hard drive (with DRM)

The DRM camp is now saying that copying is good
—to a degree. The upcoming DVD release on November 20 of Live Free or Die Hard will be the first to allow digital copies to your PC and one other USB-attached device. The catch: any device you put it on needs to be compatible with Microsoft’s PlayforSure DRM technology.
