CCP Games recently released an expansion for their MMORPG Eve Online containing new premium graphics content. However, the installer was programmed to delete C:/boot.ini, making it impossible to reboot without manually repairing your Windows XP installation.
Vista is unaffected.

The House of Representatives passed the SAFE act today which requires all providers of open wifi to report illegal images including “obscene” cartoons and drawings. The news.com summary doesn’t mention exactly how the provider has to go about detecting these images.
