At CES 2008, we saw a video during the Bill Gates final keynote showing his post-Microsoft days: playing with action figures, working on his six-pack with Matthew McConaughey, “Big Pimpin’” with Jay-Z, trying to get a gig on the Daily Show, and calling every Democrat he knows to see if he can run for Vice President.
I suppose Nintendo really is accomplishing their goal of appealing to everyone. The latest victim? Queen Elizabeth. Prince William, who received a Wii for Christmas, has been forced to share the system with his grandmother. One day when Elizabeth saw William playing, she couldn’t resist but to join in on the fun.
Every now and then I want to share a torrent with colleagues or family members who have never even heard of BitTorrent. For them even the easiest tutorials look like advanced algebra. That leaves me with two options, BitComet Lite and Bitlet. For the complete novice, sharing on BitTorrent doesn’t come any easier than this.
Earlier this evening Bill Gates gave his final Microsoft keynote at the 2008 CES show in Las Vegas. Throughout the keynote he made many references to what he will do with his free time once he retires from day to day operations at Microsoft.
