$5 a month for legal P2P could happen sooner than you think

The US and Canada have both seen recent movement on the idea of letting consumers pay $5 a month to ISPs in return for having legal access to P2P music. It might bring illicit P2P users into the light, but some are still unconvinced that compulsory licenses are the way to go.
