Adobe Puts Free Version Of Photoshop Online

Adobe is launching a basic version of popular photo-editing software Photoshop free online. While Photoshop is designed for trained professionals, Adobe says Photoshop Express, which it launched in a “beta” test version, is easier to learn. Swedish ISP Refuses To Block The Pirate Bay

After forcing a single ISP in Denmark to block The Pirate Bay, it now appears that the IFPI has a plan to sue all of the major Swedish ISPs to force them to do the same. Telia Sonera, a large Swedish ISP is refusing to be bullied, stating that such blocking and filtering actions are illegal under EU law.

RIAA doesn’t want to pay for a fair defense, says victor

The RIAA is fighting a request for nearly $300,000 in attorneys’ fees after it was told to pay Tanya Andersen’s legal bills. The RIAA says that her attorney should get at most one tenth of that amount.

Xbox Live owners getting content re-licensed to new Xboxes

The Consumerist is reporting that Microsoft is making good on re-licensing downloadable content for Xbox 360 owners who got replacement machines. Finally. At issue is the fact that the Xbox Marketplace’s content is tied to each Xbox’s serial number. When you make a purchase the Marketplace checks your serial number and generates a license.
