No harm, no foul, no attorneys’ fees for RIAA victim
A judge has refused to award attorneys’ fees to an exonerated RIAA defendant after the labels dropped their case against him so they could sue his adult daughter. The question of whether the RIAA should be responsible for fees in such cases may be headed for the Supreme Court.
