Rumor: Konami Already Hinting at Metal Gear Solid 5?

Tuesday’s Metal Gear Solid 4 press event in Tokyo’s Roppongi Hills concluded with an audio clip of a phone conversation between franchise foe Revolver Ocelot and an unknown character, with only Ocelot’s side of the conversation presented in the clip (with subtitles shown on the screen). Could they already be hinting at the next iteration of MGS?

The RIAA Explains How It Catches Alleged Music Pirates

The Chronicle of Higher Ed got a briefing at RIAA headquarters on how the group catches pirates. They just use LimeWire and other software that pirates use, except that they’ve set up scripts to search for songs, grab IP numbers, and send out notices to college officials. They claim they don’t target specific colleges, though many feel that they do

Fedora 9 Gives Ubuntu a Run For Its Money

Fedora 9 is a significant upgrade and packs in a number of new features. Perhaps the best part of Fedora 9 is the new live USB options. After playing with the release candidate for a week or so I’m happy to report that Fedora 9 has made some significant strides and gives Ubuntu a serious run for its money when it comes ot user-friendliness.

GTA4 Raises Classic GTA Prices on Xbox & PS2

Linux gains action RPG

Linux Game Publishing has announced a Linux port of “Sacred Gold,” an action role-playing game first published for Windows three years ago. The U.K.-based game publisher plans to ship the title in August of this year, priced at 27 GBP (~ $50).
