When we reported about the leak of a BuckCherry track last week, and specifically the band’s response to it, we hinted that this could be a covert form of self-promotion. Indeed, after a few days of research we found out that the track wasn’t leaked by pirates, but by Josh Klemme, the manager of the band.

Yesterday we reported that the bail date for OiNK administrator Alan Ellis and the six arrested OiNK uploaders was extended again. New information, however, now shows that two of the six uploaders were released from further investigation and can get on with their lives.

It’s official - NVIDIA has extremely poor closed source drivers that do not work properly on Linux systems. The KDE 4 issue is a widely known problem amongst Linux users. I created the thread to raise awareness of those who were left in the dark after purchasing expensive, high end NVIDIA cards that do not work properly on Linux.

Few lawyers are willing to represent, and fewer still understand the technologies involved in cases. Ray Beckerman is one of the few that seem to, and he now has an article in the current edition of The Judges Journal, about the RIAA

Rockstar today launched the official site for upcoming DS-exclusive GTA China Town Wars. The site is little more than a placeholder for the game but we were able to squeeze one bit of potential news out of all of that empty space. Down at the bottom of the page there’s the universal symbol for the Nintendo WiFi Connection.
